Geez, wish I could be there! These look great- I would especially love to see the Kazuo Ohno film, a hero of mine for sure!

There is an amazing documentary called Butoh: Body on the Edge of Crisis - I don't know if you've seen it - that I watched when I was in school that has a great clip of Kazuo Ohno dancing butoh style as a loose interpretation of Madame Butterfly to a song from that opera. It was the first time I ever saw Butoh dance and it was one of the strangest, most beautiful things I've even seen so I had to get tix for the film about him. I can't wait for that one.

The Arvo Part film looks like it could be interesting - I missed out on the VIFF last year - can't do that again this year…
